Thermo Technologies, LLC has introduced a new U.S. Forest Service approved liquid, environmentally friendly, Class A firefighting gel concentrate trade named Thermo-Gel® 200L.

Thermo-Gel® utilizes super absorbent polymer technology that encapsulates water to form a water gel barrier/layer that is being used for firefighting applications, including direct fire suppression, house and structure protection, wet lines, controlled burns and mop up.
Thermo-Gel® can be educted into the water stream of a fire or garden hose, providing the firefighter and the homeowner with an important new tool to fight fires. Thermo-Gel® is currently being used by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF), in their ground engines. The CDF is also using Thermo-Gel® in their Helicopters to protect houses and other structures.
